For two years I worked as a literacy coach at the American School of Bombay to improve writing and reading across the curriculum in the middle and high schools. Our goals were to bring authenticity to writing projects, build habits around writing to learn and increase reading engagement.

In addition, I led teacher-training sessions for public school teachers from the greater Mumbai area. We studied how to bring constructivist methods to the teaching of grammar and reading comprehension.
